Merry Christmas from our house to yours!
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned… For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. Dear Parents,
The holidays are upon us. If you all are anything like the rest of us here at Lifted Academy, you all are probably very busy decorating, getting those Christmas lists together for gift shopping, and making holiday plans for those special gatherings with family and friends. In other words, busy, busy, busy! But sometimes, especially at this time of the year, we all need to take a step back and remind ourselves what this season is truly all about.
Christmas is all about faith, hope, and most of all love. This beautiful trinity of traits comes from the one in whom we place our faith, our Heavenly Father; and it is through the first coming of His Son, Jesus, whose birth we celebrate this month, that we are given eternal hope of salvation for our souls. All of which is done out of the Father’s love for all of mankind.
