February 2026
Dear Parents,
As we approach the next school year, it is crucial to consider the significance of re-enrollment at Lifted Academy. This decision not only impacts your child’s academic journey but also their moral and spiritual development. At Lifted Academy, we are committed to providing an education that integrates biblical principles throughout every subject, teaching students the importance of following God’s truth in every area of their academic career.
One of the primary advantages of choosing Christian education over public or charter schools is our ability to offer a biblically integrated curriculum. This means that every subject is taught with a foundation rooted in God’s Word. Your children learn to see the world through the lens of Scripture, understanding the importance of God’s principles in every aspect of life. Our character development curriculum follows Jesus’ example, instilling over 31 godly principles into the lives of our students. This approach helps counter the current culture of moral relativism, motivating students intrinsically to obey the Word of God and developing morally sound, responsible young people who will create a better society in the future.
As parents and leaders, we are investing in our future when we place our children in godly environments under godly leadership that provides godly examples. John Maxwell wisely stated, “We must begin with the end in mind.” If our goal is to raise mature students who seek to follow Jesus and grow in “wisdom and stature with both God and man,” as Jesus did, then we must place our children in solid Christian schools that provide such examples.

In addition to moral development, Lifted Academy offers excellent academic pedagogy with smaller class sizes and lower student-to-teacher ratios, ensuring greater individual care. Our school provides exceptional electives in Spanish, music (vocal & instrumental), classical art, PE, and after-school activities (sports & interpretive dance), nurturing the diverse talents and interests of our students.
Priority enrollment for our students ends February 9th, after our Open House this Thursday night at 6 PM, where you can receive a $100 discount. After February 9th, open enrollment to the public begins, and our current discount regarding registration for our existing parents ends. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to secure your child’s place at Lifted Academy for the upcoming school year, as there will be a waiting list for the first time since we opened the school in 2008—praise the Lord!
This is why we are building and expanding our capacity to reach more students and families in West Kendall. Our lawyers feel we will be able to break ground this year and finally begin the work that God has called us to, which is to reach Miami for Christ, and it begins here. This is why our theme for this year’s gala to raise funds for the building program is “Rise Up and Build,” found in Nehemiah 2:18. This phrase actually came from the local people of Israel when Nehemiah reminded them that they had to finish the rebuilding of the Temple of God in Jerusalem by rebuilding the wall of protection around the city gates. Their response to his plea was, “Let us rise up and build!” May that be our battle cry this year, as we seek to build a hedge of protection around our young people in this city and instill within them the principles of God for all of eternity.God says that if you place your hope in Jesus, you will never be disappointed. As Scripture says, Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame’ (disgraced).” Romans 10:11
In addition to the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, there is also the trinity of Faith, Hope, and Love found in I Cor. 13:13
“We find Faith in God the Father, and transformative Love in God the Holy Spirit. But it is in God the Son, Jesus, who offers Hope to all of mankind.
True hope that never disappoints us in this life or he life to come, is found in the life of Christ. If it weren’t for Jesus, we would all be destined to a life of destruction, a life void of hope. If this life is as good as it gets, then we are all in trouble, and there would be no motivation for any of us to continue on in this life. But God…in Jesus Christ, we find a hope that last eternally. The apostle Paul put
it this way.
How do we come upon such hope? The bottom line is that without Christ, we are lost
our destiny this way, and destined to live this life apart from our Father, God, who is holy. Again, Paul explains
“The wages (price or consequences) of our sins is death (eternal separation from a holy God), but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
(Romans 3:23)
This is what we just celebrated in Christmas last month. Jesus left his home in Glory (heaven) to pay the “price” for our sins, by sacrificing His sinless/holy life for all of mankind, that we might me reconciled back
to our Father in heaven. In doing so, Jesus gives all of mankind true hope- hope that lasts a lifetime, hope that never disappoints.
This is the kind of hope that maintains our faith throughout this life. Hope is a very real necessity to live. It is this
kind of lasting hope that fuels our faith, that inspires our lives and motivates us to tell the world that our Father who is in heaven, truly
wants His will to be done on earth as it is in His Kingdom. This year, 2026, is the year to spread His Love, His Faith and His Hope to our
community. Lifted Church and Academy are devoted to Jesus Christ and dedicated to fulfilling the will of our heavenly Father. The
reason why we are seeking to build a new facility, is so that we can spread the Good News of Jesus, and the hope that He alone
can bring to people’s lives. It is Jesus who heals broken families, it is Jesus who heals the broken hearted, it is Jesus who brings life
to dead things, and it is only Jesus who gives us faith that will never lead to disappointment or despair. It is only Jesus
who brings true hope in this life. This is why I know that Jesus will see our building project through to fruition and it is Jesus who will bless our children and our families in this community. It is His love and personal sacrifice that gets us through our personal lives each and every day, regardless of our circumstances.
“For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory and honor forever! Amen!” (Romans 11:36)
May 2026 bring continued blessings in your lives and the lives of your children as you seek to place Jesus first in all things; for I am
confident that if you do- you will never be put to shame. May God bless us all in a mighty way this coming year and may His glory be
revealed in all our lives.
