November 2023
Thanks Giving!
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.”
PSALM 106:1

“The holidays are upon us, which means lots of fun activities for your kids here at school. We begin November with a food drive, to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Each year we seek to make up Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need. If you can help by sending in some extra canned and dried goods for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, we would greatly appreciate your contributions. Likewise, if you know of a family in need, please let us know, so that we can be sure and minister to them over this holiday season as well.
Throughout the month of November we also encourage our families to get involved in Operation Christmas Child. This charitable event is sponsored by Franklin Graham’s organization, Samaritan’s Purse. We invite each of our school families to fill up a shoebox for a boy or girl this Christmas. In doing so, your family helps provide a very special Christmas to a child overseas who would not otherwise have anything at all. Both of these activities help to provide an example to our children of what it is to physically give of our resources to others. Remember, everything you have comes from God, so show him your gratefulness by doing something that is near and dear to the heart of God- showing compassion to those in need.”
