October 2025
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents,
As October arrives and the weather cools a bit, we are reminded of the beauty of God’s creation and the blessings of a new season. The changing leaves and cooler temperatures bring fresh excitement to our school community. We hope you and your family are enjoying this special time of year, filled with new beginnings and opportunities for growth. Academic Updates: End of the First Quarter. It’s hard to believe that we have reached the end of the first quarter! Our students have been working diligently, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished. Report cards will be sent home with students on Monday, October 20th. Please take time to review your child’s progress and celebrate their achievements together. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Friday, October 17th, through Friday, October 24th. These meetings offer a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s growth, set goals for the months ahead, and foster a stronger partnership between home and school. We encourage every family to participate, as your involvement is crucial to your child’s success. Information about scheduling your conference will be sent home this week. At our school, academic growth is important, but helping children develop strong Christian character is at the heart of our mission. Our ultimate goal is to see children begin to think and act like Jesus, in accordance with the following scripture found in Romans
8:29: “For those He foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son”

This is first and foremost our greatest concern, here at Lifted Academy. We continue to focus on values like kindness, honesty, respect, and perseverance, rooted in Christ’s teachings. This month, our chapel lessons and classroom discussions will emphasize the importance of obedience, resilience, and loving others, especially in challenging times. We pray that each child grows not only in knowledge, but in faith and compassion. We are deeply saddened by the recent tragic events that have affected churches and schools across our nation, including the loss of Christian leaders such as Charlie Kirk. Such moments can leave us feeling anxious and uncertain. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. Our staff is committed to maintaining a secure, nurturing environment for every child. We are also here to support our families spiritually and emotionally. As a community of faith, we find strength in God’s promises and in one another. If your child has questions or needs support, please reach out to your child’s teacher or myself, as my door is always open to our students and parents. Together, we will continue to pray for those affected by these events and trust in God’s love and protection over our church and school community. One way that we love to stay connected with you is our annual Fall Open House/Spaghetti Dinner. We invite all students and their families to join us for a free dinner on October 7th from 6-8 PM. We willprovide dinner, and we ask that parents sign up to bring desserts. This is a wonderful time for your child to “show off “their accomplishments this first quarter and for you to connect with both your child’s teacher in a more casual atmosphere, as well as other parents in the school. I do hope that you will make every effort to attend. Here are a few Upcoming Events and Reminders:

We are grateful to partner with you in nurturing your child’s heart, mind, and spirit. May the Lord bless your family with peace, health, and joy this fall.
